Renaissance 1 to stage The Seahorse

Renaissance 1 will present The Seahorse, an adult-themed production directed by Marvin Jonason and written by Edward J. Moore, at Enthios Art Venue on Oct. 14, 15, 16 and 17.

Performances will begin at 8 p.m. at 215 CR 301 (Greenwood Hollow Rd.). Tickets are $12 each. For details, call (612) 616-4675.

Iris to exhibit Dean's whimsies

Iris at The Basin Park will host Georgia artist James Dean, whose whimsical paintings of the loveable blue cat, Pete, are now available in his new book "I Love My White Boots," during this weekend's Second Saturday Gallery Stroll.

Attendees may visit with Dean from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 10.

Eureka Thyme to host Kriste-lee reception

Eureka Thyme will host a reception for Kriste-lee during the Second Saturday Gallery Stroll on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at 19 Spring St.

Zarks to host Logan art exhibit in October

Zarks Fine Design Gallery will display a collection of river rocks, fossils, agates, slate and other stones, bezel-set in sterling silver and bronze by Terri Logan throughout the month of October.

The new creations will be a highlight of the Eureka Springs Gallery Association's Second Saturday Gallery Stroll on Oct. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Booths now available for Blue Spring Fall Fair

Booths are still available for the fall art show and sale at Blue Spring Heritage Center for the weekend of Oct. 17.

83 Spring Street to host Bundy

At 83 Spring Street Gallery, collectors of John Bundy's colorful duck decoys will discover his newest venture, X-treme occasional tables made of natural materials in a wide range of sizes and stains. Decoys and tables will be presented from Thursday, Oct. 8, through Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Eureka Fine Art to focus on Mitchell photos

Eureka Fine Art, 78 Spring Street, will host a reception for fine art photographer Josh Mitchell on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 1 to 4 and from 6 to 9 p.m.

The event will debut Mitchell's newest work, featuring Colorado and Ozark Mountain pieces. Special complimentary copies of Mitchell's latest promotional DVD will also be available.

Wine and cheese will be served and Chuck Onofrio will perform music.
