Al Hooks and Carol Peacock have been chosen to participate in the City of Algonquin Public Art Program. Three of their pieces will be shown in a public venue for a period of one year. Peacock and Hooks will attend a reception Oct. 15 in Algonquin, Ill., to kick off the exhibit. At the same time (for the month of October) they will be showing in the Old Courthouse Gallery in Woodstock, Ill. "This is a great opportunity for us and good publicity for the City Of Eureka Springs," Peacock remarked. Bravo! Two of my favorite artists are finally getting the recognition they deserve. Carol's work in particular is stunning.
