Caribe exhibits to honor All Souls Day
'Dia de Los,' or Day of the Dead, is the title of Mary Springer's new body of work that will debut at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 24, at Caribe Restaurant and Mexican Market.
Another special exhibit featuring local artists, the Day of the Dead Shrine Show, will be open for viewing and purchase from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Oct. 30 and 31. In addition, Ralph "Mr. Shrine" Wilson will install a community Ofrenda at Caribe for interactive participation by those who want to honor their dearly departed. Offerings of photos, candles, flowers, shrines or any special form of memories available, will be accepted beginning Oct. 28.
