The City of Eureka Springs has signed the U.S. Mayor's Climate Protection Agreement, and has a number of initiatives to conserve energy and reduce pollution. Journalist Becky Gillette has done three YouTube videos in conjunctions with Oct. 24 International Day of Climate Action, highlighting what the city, businesses, and individuals are doing to help preserve the environment by reducing energy and water use.

The video on 'Green Eurekans' can be found here.

An interview with Mayor Dani Joy and other city officials about what the City of Eureka Springs is doing to Go Green. Click here.

Finally, Gillette and Citizen photographer Chip Ford joined the bicyclists taking the Mountain Street Challenge. Raw video of that event can be found here.

I love it! I hope there will be more activities like this and EarthDance to foster global consciousness in our community. Thanks to Becky and Larry for a job well done.
