Citizen of the Week

Mark Wilson is this week's COW. His nominator writes, "On Oct. 16, someone chiseled graffiti into the stone on the landing outside the front door of the Carnegie Public Library. The vile words would greatly offend many of the Library's patrons. I called builder and carpenter Mark Wilson who was having lunch at Bubba's. He said he'd be over right after he finished eating. Using an orbital sander, he smoothed the surface until it appeared as though it hadn't been vandalized. He refused payment for his time, saying it was just an extended lunch hour and was simply for the greater good."
