In the parade, the Eureka Springs High School and Middle School Marching Band, led by Chad Martin, took first place and received $200. A second place prize of $100 was awarded to Chelsea's, whose entry consisted of 40 persons dressed as hill folk singing, playing banjos and dancing.
Third place in the parade was a tie, with each receiving $50, between Miss Melanie's School of Dance and the Krewe of Krazo. Miss Melanie's entry consisted of young children dressed in folk-inspired bright colors dancing and hip-hopping, led by Melanie Linker. The Krewe of Krazo entry consisted of Dan Ellis and "the gang" dressed in drag as dancing naughty girls.
In the singer/songwriter contest, the first place prize of $1,000 went to Wes Casto of Marianna, Ohio.
Winning the Queen's contest was Mesha Steel, escorted by Reid Evans. First runner-up was Jamie Ramberg, escorted by Zack Steel and Miss Congeniality was Shannon Walton, escorted by Dustin Whittemore.
