Citizen of the Week

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

One of those who nominated Sue Glave as this week's COW writes, "Years ago, after her husband Gary returned from Vietnam, he watched Veterans Day parades, seeing WWII, Korean War and everyone but Nam vets honored. 'I wish I had a parade,' he said. Sue promised to give him one, but Agent Orange took him before she could keep the promise. This year, she worked nonstop for weeks to make it happen, and the result was one of Eureka's finest Veterans Day observations ever. And now it is up to all of us to make sure that it becomes an annual event. All garrison caps off to Sue!"

Sue fits the definition of a "True Patriot".
