10:34 a.m. -- A caller informed police that gasoline was stolen from a middle school vehicle.

Tuesday, Dec. 1

10:23 a.m. -- A caller asked police to check on the welfare of a Cloud St. resident and the responding officer said the subject was found "to be OK."

1:10 p.m. -- An officer met a state trooper on Hwy. 23S and took custody of a person named in an outstanding Eureka Springs warrant.

11:02 p.m. -- A caller complained about a trio of dogs serenading Mountain St. from a neighbor's back porch.

11:12 p.m. -- A caller alerted authorities to the presence of a dead deer on US62W.

Wednesday, Dec. 2

9:18 a.m. -- A caller reported an act of vandalism at a location near US62W.

2:29 p.m. -- A car and a deer collided with predictable results in front of a US62W funeral facility.

Thursday, Dec. 3

5:18 p.m. -- After a caller's truck caught on fire in front of Basin Spring Park, he put it out and asked police to assist "him and his baby."

8:10 p.m. -- An employee of a US62E discount store asked police to critique the performances of a couple starring in a shoplifter security camera movie who "came in and stole some items."

10:02 p.m. -- A caller at a US62E grocery store told police she had a special on three guys who are so drunk they "can barely walk."

10:33 p.m. -- An alarm rang at a US62E grocery store.

Friday, Dec. 14

10:14 a.m. -- A caller who said she fell on a new limestone sidewalk in front of a S. Main St. cafe did not request medical attention but did want the accident documented.

7:19 p.m. -- A woman who backed her vehicle into another on Center St. asked to speak with an officer.

11:10 p.m. -- A caller who said his girlfriend went for a walk downtown and failed to return to their lodging called back and cancelled a search for her when she finally returned.

Saturday, Dec. 15

12:26 a.m. -- Police responded to a complaint about a disturbance at a US62E motel and asked those involved in a dispute to leave the premises.

9:14 a.m. -- A caller told police an alarm "attached to a utility" has "been going off since last night" on Hillside Ave.

9:40 a.m. -- A caller at the middle school told police that "two juvenile females were caught smoking in the bathroom, possibly marijuana" and two officers decided to sniff around.

1:53 p.m. -- An Alexander St. caller told police he suspected "there has been some poaching going on" when he spotted three dead deer.

5:28 p.m. -- A caller at a US62W motel asked police to check on the welfare of a guest.

6:57 p.m. -- Police were informed about a domestic disturbance which occurred at a Pine St. residence.

8:45 p.m. -- A domestic disturbance on Pine St. flared up again.

Sunday, Dec. 16

6:19 a.m. -- A mother from Shell Knob, Mo. asked police for help in locating her missing daughter and two officers quickly located the girl and made arrangements to return her to her mom.
