Citizen of the Week

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

This week's Citizen of the Week is Bill King. His nominator writes, "At times I have heartily disagreed with him, but his dedication, selflessness, kindness and hard, hard work on behalf of the Good Shepherd Humane Society is an example to all of us. More importantly, it has made a huge difference to those of us who don't have a voice." Many of us who do have human voices also hold Bill King in high esteem for his efforts on behalf of our two-legged neighbors. Thanks Bill.

  • No one could be more unassuming about such an award than Bill, but no one deserves it more. He does what he does because of who he is, not for any recognition or reward. That trait makes him an outstanding citizen, this, or any, week.
