Mike was a Commissioner for the Eureka Springs C.A.P.C. He was a T-Ball, Basketball, and Soccer Coach, as well as a volunteer for the Eureka Springs Historical Museum. Mike was a member of the St. Elizabeth Centennial Committee. He was also a member of the planning and promotions committee for the new Eureka Springs High School. He loved to play music and cook. Mike appeared on stage at the Pine Mountain Jamboree playing drums and performing from 1975 to 2005. He was currently a Real Estate Appraiser for Greer Real Estate Services. Above all of this, Mike was a loving husband, father, son and friend.
On November 7, 1993 he was united in marriage with Gina Rose Greer who survives him of the home in Eureka Springs, AR. He is also survived by two sons, Avery and Carter Drennon of Eureka Springs, AR; parents, David and Dee Drennon of Branson, MO; one sister, Mindee and husband James Prosser of Nashville, TN; one niece and nephew, Emily and Braden Prosser of Nashville, TN; mother-in-law, Carol Greer of Eureka Springs, AR; father-in-law, Vern Greer of Eureka Springs, AR; brother-in-law, Brian Greer and fiancÚ Kristina Heiberger of Washington, DC; grandparents, Frances Drennon of Springfield, MO, and Lloyd Presley of Branson, MO, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bessie Presley and paternal grandfather, Lawrence Drennon.
Rosary services will be 6:30 P.M. Sunday, January 10, 2010 at the St. Elizabeth Parish Center. Visitation will follow from 7 until 8:30 P.M. Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 11, 2010 at the St. Elizabeth Parish Center in Eureka Springs, AR with Rev. Shaun C. Wesley officiating under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc.
