Little Bo-Peep returns to downtown Eureka

Thursday, February 4, 2010
Little Bo-Peep's Yarn and Antiques is back in downtown Eureka Springs, along with a new merchandising plan.

Two years ago, Michell Taylor swapped her downtown location for a more out-of-the-way site with free parking. Regular customers followed, but business took a dip because of a lack of foot traffic.

Now back in downtown, on Center St., Taylor has added gift items with the Naked Bee line of organic lotions, locally made pillows and other homey pieces, along with the yarn and her regular antique pieces.

Said Taylor, "My two years away were a real growing period for me. I learned to diversify. It's worked," she continued. "My shop is jam-packed and I'm loving every minute of it."

Taylor's shop is featured, for the third time, in the January 2010 issue of Yarn Market News.
