He has helped thousands of first-time paddlers launch a life-long journey of discovery and nature appreciation. He's organized many river clean-ups and worked closely with governmental and private agencies to preserve the river for future generations. He's also a riverscape artist and his paintings of the Kings make it possible for those far from its shores to share its awesome beauty."
