Eureka Thyme to host Westerman show

Eureka Thyme will feature Eureka Springs watercolorist Dixie Westerman in a special show to kick off the 2010 Gallery Stroll season on Saturday, April 10 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Westerman graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute with a major in interior design and a minor in oil painting. and studied watercolor painting with Glenn Gant.

While active in her career as an interior designer, she painted murals for a variety of commercial and residential clients and stage settings for a local theater group. Since retiring from her career as an interior designer, she now devotes her time to painting.
