ESSA Thursday Studio Stroll focuses on fiber art and watercolor

Eureka Springs School of the Arts (ESSA) will host a Thursday, June 17 Studio Stroll from 4 -- 5:30 pm to exhibit works of the students of Eleanor Lux (Off the Loom Weaving) and Marlene Gremillion (Painting Flowers in a Different Way) at the ESSA campus on US 62 West, five miles in Eureka Springs. The event is open to the public and food and beverages will be on hand for all attending.

On Tuesday, June 22 at 4 p.m., ESSA will have a slide show presentation of the works of Session Four instructors Wayne Summerhill (Metal Sculpture) and Lyla Allison (Intermediate Metalsmithing) at the campus.

Adult scholarships are still available for both wood and metal workshops. These include Wooden Wall Puzzles taught by Jim Nelson; Wood Turning with Kip Powers and Greg Thomas; and Knife Making and Whittling with Doug Stowe. In the medium of metal, Metal Memory Boxes with Mary Springer also offers scholarships.
