Citizen of the Week

Dave Heilemann is a "gentle giant" of our community. Recognizing late August as a time when Eureka Springs tourism is at a lull, Dave, with the Northwest Arkansas Volkswagen Association, organized an event to fill the last August weekend.

This year, the 18th annual VW Show will bring hundreds of Karmann Ghias, hippie vans, dune buggies, new Beetles, and countless spectators to Eureka Springs.

We appreciate Dave for being a hard worker, a true friend, a pillar of the community, and for bringing all the Bugs to town.
