Citizen of the Week

"June Hegedus is the most loving and caring and giving person I have ever met. She organized the Tuesday local luncheon at Myrties Mae's and brings balloons each month for those celebrating a birthday.

"June has been hostess for 100 exchange students and gets them involved in the community.

"When she won beautiful china that the historic society gave away at the tea this year she gave it to a friend who did not have a set of beautiful china.

"She hears of someone in need and she always does what she can and volunteers whenever asked. I am privileged to be able to call June Hegedus a friend of mine."
