Citizen of the Week

Teresa Pelliccio DeVito was watering her flowers when she heard the faint sound of a woman in distress. Someone was crying for help, but Teresa could not tell the direction it was coming from.

She took off following the voice toward a valley across the street and found a neighbor lying on the sidewalk with an obviously broken leg.

Teresa called 911 and stayed with the neighbor until an ambulance arrived and secured their patient, Teresa then walked the lady's dog back to her house and alerted her daughter to what had happened.
