Citizen of the Week

Karen FitzPatrick, lead singer for the Ariels, a local favorite group known for its philanthropic spirit, is also a super mom, super organizer, and a super nice person. She has probably been COW before, but deserves it again.

Because of her love for Clear Spring School, she took the lead in the development of the first Eurekapalooza Music Festival benefit. The family friendly festival brought together 35 performers, multiple concessions, and kids' activities at our very own Lake Leatherwood.

This festival was a huge undertaking, requiring about 50 volunteers, and switching between a microphone and a walkie-talkie all day, yet Karen remained smiling the whole time!
