Robert "Bob" Paul Rizman, of Holiday Island, was born July 17, 1942 in Berwyn, Ill., a son of Paul and Edna (Pearl) Rizman. He passed away Friday, Nov. 19 in Holiday Island at age 68.
Bob was a race and stock car driver and avid fisherman. He was very active in the Democratic Party.
He owned Two Hobo's restaurant in Eureka Springs several years ago, and was retired from the Eagle Rock and Holiday Island Fire Departments as fire chief.
On August 10, 1994, Bob married Sondra Herr who survives him of the home. He is also survived by four daughters, Lisa and her husband, Joel Takkimen, of Burmsville, Minn.; Darlene and husband, Tom Hogan, of Elgin, Ill.; Cindy and husband, Rick Hill, of Sherwood, Ark.; Tracey and husband, Geoff Bennett, of Tomball, Texas; one brother, Bill Rizman of Nebraska; nine grandchildren; one uncle, Joe Rizman, and a cousin, Susan Hinman, both of Arlington, Ill.; other relatives and many friends.
