She was preceded in death by her parents Brian and Charlotte Booth, and one brother James Wilson Booth. On March 23, 1944, she was united in marriage to Arthur Floyd "Hap" Wright who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Randy Fuller of Holiday Island, one granddaughter, Amanda Casey, and great-granddaughter Camryn Casey whom she affectionately called her "sweetie pie" both of Harrison, Arkansas; a dear first cousin, Lynda Ferguson of Hardy, Arkansas, and one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bob Swadley of Springfield, Mo., along with a host of other family and friends.
Mrs. Wright received a BSE degree from Arkansas State University in 1968 and was a high school English teacher at Thayer, Mo., for 23 years before retiring in 1991. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending her time with her family, most especially her granddaughter, Amanda, who adored her Nana beyond measure.
Before moving to Holiday Island in 1999 to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Mary was a long time resident of Hardy, Ark., residing in Rio Vista.
Graveside service was held Dec. 11 at Baker Cemetery outside Ozark Acres under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Home in Hardy. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Circle of Life Hospice, 900 NE Verdant, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712.
