This former President of the Board of the Eureka Springs United Methodist Church still serves on the Angel Tree, Birthday Card, and Pastor Parish Committees as well as Bell Choir. She also serves on the Eureka Springs Hospital Guild, bakes dozens of cookies for numerous events, and created Laugh Books for our hospital, clinics and nursing homes.

Beth Short has cheered children of all ages as "Snookey the Clown" for 50 years. She is mother to four children, grandmother to nine, and great-grandmother to three. She is also a model for aging by sharing her enthusiasm for life, laughter and service to others.

Beth "Snookey" Caldwell Manire Short will celebrate her 90th birthday on Sunday, May 8 -- Mother's Day.
