Greg Fargo, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born October 29, 1969 in Sallisaw, Okla.,, a son of Charles Harry Fargo and Patsy Marie (Taylor) Wiley. He departed this life July 23, 2011 in Eureka Springs, at the age of 41.
Greg served in the U. S. Navy, and was an avid hunter, fisherman and gun collector.
On June 26, 1999 he was united in marriage with Andrea Patty who survives him of the home. He is also survived by one daughter, Ali Fargo of Eureka Springs; parents, Charles and wife, Martha Fargo, of Eureka Springs; Patsy and husband, Jack Wiley, of Preston, Okla.; three sisters, Marlene and husband, David Bootenhoff, of Tulsa, Okla.; Frances Bloch of Eureka Springs; Paula Butler of Topeka, Kan.; one brother, Justin Wiley of Preston, Okla.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Barb Patty of Berryville, Ark.; grandfather, Ted Scates of Eureka Springs; numerous nieces and nephews and host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gertrude and Joe Fargo, maternal grandmother, Della Masterson, paternal grandmother, Myrtle Scates.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 26, at Nelson's Chapel of the Springs. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, at the Faith Christian Family Church with Bro. Gary Hayhurst officiating. Interment will follow at the Eureka Springs Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
