Pauline Grace Dryer, 90, of Holiday Island, died August 2, in the Eureka Springs Hospital.

She was born October 26, 1920 in Springdale, Ark., to Fred and Lillian Weber. She graduated from Springdale High School in 1938 and married Irvin C. Dryer on November 15, 1942.

Pauline was a dedicated wife and mother, a wonderful cook and seamstress, and an enthusiastic wildflower gardener. Through the years she enjoyed being involved in her Extension Club and Nature Study Group. She was also an avid reader.

She was preceded in death by her husband Irvin; her parents; a brother, Richard Weber; a sister Margaret Weathers; and her infant son, Paul Dryer.

Survivors include two sons, Irvin C. Dryer, Jr. and wife, Carol, of Ellicott City, Md., and John A. Dryer and wife, Janine, of Holiday Island; two sisters, Louise Cook of Springdale and Gladys Cary and husband, Bob, of Springdale; one brother, Fred Weber, Jr. and wife, Ellen, of Rogers; two grandchildren, Jeremy Dryer of Holiday Island, and Joel Dryer and wife, Kristi, of Gilmer, Texas; one great grandson, J.D. Dryer of Gilmer, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law whom she dearly loved.

Funeral services were August 6, 2011 at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial was in the Bluff Cemetery.
