Citizen of the Week

Ralph Wilson, aka, Mr. Shrine, came our fair city back in 2006. From the moment he arrived he has been doing his magic with a love for art, using his ability to make everyone he works with feel like an artist. He worked on our festivals in 2006--07, has taught Shrine Making in the Eureka and Berryville schools, has held adult classes, been in art shows and brought Art Cars to town for past May Festivals.

This tall, deep-voiced 60-something has been working with the 21st Century Learning Center kids all year. His students have produced art for May Fest, murals, tiny art cars, buses, trains and large tile mosaics. Good job Mr. Shrine!
