Kelly Gerlach and Ben
Hovland were married Oct. 15, in an outdoor ceremony at the home of Janet and Roger Gerlach in Sparta, Ill. Pastor Scott Henley performed the ceremony.
The couple met while working for Secretary of State Robin Carnahan in Jefferson City, Mo., and currently reside in Washington DC with their two dogs, Dexter and Mosley.
Kelly is a policy associate for Project Vote in Washington D.C. She graduated from Southern Illinois University with a B.A. in political science and a Master's in public administration. She is the daughter of Janet and Roger Gerlach of Sparta, Ill.
Ben is a senior attorney for the Fair Elections Legal Network in Washington DC. He graduated from University of Central Arkansas with a B.A. in Political Science and received a law degree from the University of Oregon. He is the son of Barbara Harmony of Eureka Springs and the late Jim Hovland of St. Louis, Mo.
