Citizen of the Week

While in a passing car, Clear Spring High School student, Hendrik Pot, saw an older woman slip and fall near the Basin Park Hotel, injuring her face and head. The adults didn't seem to know what to do.

Being a Boy Scout, Hendrik quickly took over, assessed the woman's injuries and directed others to help him get her into the hotel. He got damp cloths to clean her bleeding wounds and ice for her bruises.

He then provided directions to the hospital for the woman's husband. Luckily, Hendrik, the youngest person in the crowd, thought to use his Scout training and became a hero to a thankful visitor.
