Yep, these fellers are dead and have been for years. But one day they posed for posterity wearing the shiny badge of justice pinned directly over their hearts.

Police protection is something that might make some of us wary, but when a police department really does pursue and capture those who steal from us and set fire to our buildings, we are inclined to give cops a nod.

The men in the picture worked in Eureka Springs a long time ago, but the department continues to thrive because by golly, there are cops and robbers and it's time the good guys got their picture in the paper.
