Susan Grace Sutherland-Killion was born in Kingsport, Tenn., to Charlene Lexie and Ray Sutherland, both deceased.
Susan moved to Eureka Springs nearly 40 years ago with her first husband, Tim Seago. She worked at Healing Benefits Massage Therapy Co. for 17 years and was its owner for 13 years.
Susan donated to all local charities, was like a second mom to many Eureka Springs kids, was a loyal friend endeared by all who knew her. She will be remembered by her love of family, her generous, caring spirit, her gentle sweetness, incredible massages and large heart.
The family thanks Eureka Springs Hospital staff and paramedics for their gallant effort to save her life. A special thanks to all therapists who worked so committedly with her, and to Rick and Shari Rojek of The Heartstone Inn Bed & Breakfast for the years of providing a home for Healing Benefits Massage.
Susan made an impression on all with whom she came in contact. She is greatly loved and terribly missed.
A special gathering of family and friends is planned Feb. 19 from 1 -- 4 p.m. at the Killion home. Please come, bring a dish and something to share. For directions please call Healing Benefits (479) 253-6750.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, Kent Killion, two sons, Kole and Kaleb, and a host of family and friends.
