"Annie hears of someone feeling under-the-weather and quickly dispatches a pot of hot, delicious homemade soup along with sympathetic reassurances (or chides, if she knows you aren't taking care of yourself) and a home remedy.

"Knowing of street musicians out in the cold singing for supper, she makes sure they have a hot meal and a place to warm-up.

"Quick with compliments and hugs, Annie is a one-woman welcoming committee to our town, and she always makes us feel beautiful, too."
