Citizen of the Week

"1984 was the year these Citizens of the Week began volunteering for the Good Shepherd Humane Society. When weather permits, Bobbie can be found at the base of Spring St. serving as an ambassador for GSHS.

"Each week Ken photographs all new animals at GSHS and updates the photo boards in ES and Berryville.

"Together, they feed the feral cat communities of ES. They established and continue to fund the Bates Foundation which provides low cost spay and neuter services to qualified owners.

"Thank you Bobbie and Ken Bates, for your concern and commitment to the dogs and cats of Carroll County."
