John Fundaburg, Jan. 13, 1928 -- April 22, 2012

John Fundaburg of Holiday Island, was born January 13, 1928 in Omaha, Neb., a son of Gilbert and Frieda (Dahmke) Fundaburg. He departed this life Sunday, April 22 in Fayetteville, Ark., at the age of 84.

He is survived by three sons, Douglas Fundaburg of Holiday Island, Ark.; David Fundaburg of Omaha, Neb.; Rick Petersen of Red Oak, Texas; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Eileen Holz Fundaburg, and one daughter.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, May 5 at the Holiday Island Community Church with Rev. Dr. John R. Wallace officiating. Cremation arrangements were made with Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
