George Brothers receive honors in Texas

The George Brothers, owners of the Ozark Mountain Hoe Down, will be inducted into the Texas Music Hall of Fame on June 15, at 7 p.m. in the Historic Gatesville Texas City Auditorium.

This honor was enhanced by a letter from Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe congratulating them for accomplishments in the tourism industry for 20 years Their CD, Brothers, Friends and Outlaws Forever has hit the charts in Texas and gotten the attention of the Nashville industry. A national release will be in early August.

Randall and Dawayne George started playing with the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down band in their early teen years. Their American dream came true when they bought the theatre in 2001. There will a send off party during the performance June 14 with cake and lots of surprises.
