The Treehouse Gift Shop and Gallery (across from Bubba's) invites the public to an Open House Thursday, June 21, from 5 -- 7 p.m.

Come visit the newly-expanded gallery, check out some fun pottery and jewelry and stay for refreshments and music. There will also be a drawing for a night's lodging in Treehouse Cottages.

Come and Occupy on Tuesday afternoons at the group's new location at 4 p.m. (or later if you can't come at 4) at the Picket Fence Shops on Van Buren just down from Roscoe's. Please try to carpool or walk, or find a close by place to park unless you are handicapped. The 99% don't want to take up the parking spots of the nice folks at the Picket Fence shops (some aren't open so those parking places may be okay).

Friends of the Barn invite everyone to bring a dish to share at the Holiday Island Historic Barn on Sunday, June 24. Festivities begin with a meal from 2 to 3 p.m., including a brief meeting with information about proposed rehabilitation of the main entrance.

The Eureka Springs Elementary and Middle Schools, in partnership with Main Stage, offer a 21st Century Community Learning Center summer program for students in grades K -- 6 from July 2 -- August 4 (except July 4) at no cost to the family. Hours are 8 a.m. -- 5:30 p.m. and will include breakfast, lunch and snacks.

The summer program will include, but not be limited to, physical activities, visual and performing arts and will have a "2012 Olympics" theme. Academic tutoring/instruction may be part of the program. Please call the school for more information.
