The Treehouse Gift Shop and Gallery (across from Bubba's) invites the public to an Open House Thursday, June 21, from 5 -- 7 p.m.

Please try to carpool or walk, or find a close by place to park unless you are handicapped. Friends of the Barn invite everyone to bring a dish to share at the Holiday Island Historic Barn on Sunday, June 24. Festivities begin with a meal from 2 to 3 p.m., including a brief meeting with information about proposed rehabilitation of the main entrance.

The Eureka Springs Elementary and Middle Schools, in partnership with Main Stage, offer a 21st Century Community Learning Center summer program for students in grades K -- 6 from July 2 -- August 4 (except July 4) at no cost to the family. Hours are 8 a.m. -- 5:30 p.m. and will include breakfast, lunch and snacks.
The summer program will include, but not be limited to, physical activities, visual and performing arts and will have a "2012 Olympics" theme. Academic tutoring/instruction may be part of the program. Please call the school for more information.
