Daisy "Anjou" Hadassah Storch 1915-2012 was born in Glitzia, Poland, Sept. 25, 1915 to Isidore and Feiga (Edelheit) Rothenberg. She passed away quietly and peacefully at Emeritus Springtree in Sunrise, Fla., on June 11. Daisy was a frequent visitor to Eureka Springs over the past 38 years and planned to move here when a fall prevented it.
Her parents, grandparents and sisters emigrated to the US in 1921 settling in New York City. Daisy married Louie Storch Nov. 4, 1936 in The Bronx, NYC.
She is survived by their children, Phillip and his wife, Toni, of Springfield, Mo., Susan of Eureka Springs and Jerry and his wife, Brenda, of Forsyth, Mo.; grandchildren Jason, Matthew, Scott, Sarah, Amber, David, Jennifer; and great-grandchildren Steven, Christian, Katy, Evan and Louie; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She will be remembered always as an amazing and dynamic woman, a true "balabusta" loved by her family and extended family. She loved ballet, theater and music. Daisy and her husband, Lou, won numerous trophies for ballroom dancing.
