Cornerstone donates prize money

CICA Festival Director, Thomas Chun-yu Chen, left, was surprised with a big check from Cornerstone Bank presented by Autumn Hudgins, second from left, during a rehearsal at the middle school this week. The bank donated $1,000 toward prize money for the International Concerto Competition which was held Monday night. Some of the students gathered here were semifinalists and now have to wait for the decisions of 13 judges to see who will play with the symphony on June 6. Top prize is $3,000
