George Brothers extend Hoe-Down good will to region's riders

Randall and DaWayne George, owners and stars of the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down in Eureka Springs, show off their Harleys recently. The two are going to be featured in upcoming stories in both the Carroll County News and the Lovely County Citizen.
Did you know Eureka Springs' Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down also hosts a Thursday Bikers Night that is also a bike show in parking lot? A discounted theater ticket is the fee for entry, and first prize is $100.

Additionally, the Hoe-Down owners Randall and DaWayne George voluntarily take bikers who stop by the theater on free tours of the Eureka Springs area, and during Bikes Blues & Barbecue week, the George Brothers can be found leading rides over to Fayetteville, where the festival is headquartered Sept. 26-29.

Hog Tales magazine's feature of the brothers' two-day trip with the editor put Northwest Arkansas on the map of riders all over the country.

Randall was inspired to write their song "Brothers, Friends and Outlaws Forever," when he and DaWayne were leading a Veterans' Ride.

And on Labor Day last weekend, the brothers' NRA 2nd Amendment Freedom Ride drew 71 bikes.

Watch the Lovely County Citizen for more about the brothers and their connections with -- and leadership of -- the region's motorcycling community. The newspaper will feature them in stories the week prior to Bikes Blues and Barbecue, which occurs the last weekend of this month.
