If you found yourself on City Council, what is one thing about Eureka Springs you would fix?
Trevor Lemme
10th Grade
"I think kids should have off-campus lunch privileges."
Hallie White
9th Grade
"There's nothing to do around here. Fixing that would be my first priority."
Darrin Byford
Masonry
"Parking."
Mark Lillard
RX Construction
"I love everything about Eureka Springs! I wish my city (Hot Springs) ran like this place!"
Richard Goodyear
Contract Welder
"From the construction p.o.v., having to renovate buildings from the inside out due to historicity is costly, a real hassle, and a waste."
Rod McGuire
Former Educator
"I would fix the pavement on the Historic Loop. All tourists drive on it, and it's the worst in town."

Trevor, the question was not about you. The question was what would you do for the benefit of all. Hallie, there is more than enough to do around here. Have you looked into joining the Gardening Club? How about volunteering at one of the food bank? Volunteering to read to children at the library? How about taking up running and training for marathons? Get involved in 4H? Church group?
I would fix Wolf Grulkey. He should have been neutered decades ago.
Rock, Trevor is just looking out for his most important interest... himself! And Hallie's right, this town sucks! Ah! Today's youth, don'tcha just love 'em?!
There really isn't anything for kids to do that live or visit here. I am thankful that they just reopened the old fun spot but we need more. The skating rink is now closed as well. I remember being a teen in ES and having a blast. Yes rockpilefarmer, there are things like volunteering that the kids in town can do and a lot of them do, however, just like the adults in town, they too would like to unwind and hang out. I really wish I had the funds to do something. It would be great if whomever is going to 'DO' something with the Aud could take our local youth into consideration and have a teen night on Fri or Sat night where they have a band or karaoke with a soda/snack bar. Let them be responsible for clean up when the night is over. As for open campus, that's up to the school board not the city counsel Trevor. And I'm sure Angela feels much safer knowing you are on campus during school hours. As for what to fix? PLUMBING! Oh my goodness...YES...the plumbing!
