Barefoot Ball Best Couple Costume Contenders

The Hillbillies -- Sam Evans and Dan Sweeden --and a couple from Bugtussle, Okla., were among the contenders for best couple in the costume contest at the Barefoot Ball at the Basin Park Hotel ballroom on Halloween night. Mark Hughes, right, aka Latrina Pearl, Minnie's younger sister, said he 'ran up' his square-dance outfit that day. The Bugtussle couple won.
