Too often in life the people who get our attention are the ones who make big splashes, good or bad -- but more important by far in the long run are those who do all they have to, then take time to do some more. They're like Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz," tirelessly helping the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, the Lion, and finally even the Wizard Himself find what they really need from life, even when it was there all along. This week's Citizen of the Week is Patty Ermert. Her nominator sent a brief note: "Patty volunteers to help not only family, but friends. She runs errands and transports those who need it to and from the doctor. She does anything she can to make someone's day a little better. She also makes really good peanut butter cookies!" Never let it be said we don't tip our hats to good peanut butter cookies. Thank you Patty!
