Thanks for Thanksgiving potluck
The 39th Community Thanksgiving Potluck was a wonderful success and appreciated by all who participated. Many attended this year for the first time and contributed generously to the abundance of lovingly prepared dishes from turkey to dessert.
A special thanks to Barb, Sally, Gail, Wendy and Ralph for roasting the turkeys donated by Harts and Eureka Market. Thanks to Roscoe for his freshly brewed coffees. And thank you for all who helped make the event run smoothly from the setup of the room to the cleanup afterwards.
We especially appreciate and thank the U. U. Elk St. Church for offering the perfect setting for our community feast.
Thank you all for contributing to a very special celebration.
Thanks to all
Seasons Greetings. I'd like to thank all the people who participated in the general and runoff elections for city council in Eureka Springs. The new year will bring changes to our city government, and I wish for all leaders, good will to all, and peace of mine. Thomas Jefferson said, "The world is not run by the majority, but by tghe majority of those who participate," so I encourage the people of Eureka to keep watching, communicate, help out and not just criticize. Once again, thank you and God Bless America.
