Tinsel Out, Mesh in

Wrapping your Christmas tree in bright-colored mesh ribbon is in this year, to judge from the Christmas Forest at the Crescent Hotel. In all, 25 trees await viewingoff the hotel's back porch, with the best time just before dusk, when the colors of the ribbons and ornaments glow along with the lights. The Christmas Forest is a fundraiser for local charities and organizations -- bring a few dollars to put in an envelope, then vote for your favorite tree. Trees and some of the people who sponsor them will be featured in the Dec. 13 Lovely County Citizen.
