Citizen of the Week

This week's Citizen of the Week is Rachal Hyatt, nominated for her role in organizing the Beaver Park Polar Plunge for 2013. The Plunge is an annual fundraising event for Special Olympics Arkansas that continues to grow each year. Proceeds from the event allow Special Olympics athletes to train and compete in a variety of sporting events, and Rachal has put in a lot of hours making it happen. (This year, the editor of the hardest-working newspaper in Eureka will be jumping in the cold, cold water along with everybody else who signed up. Any other newspaper editors across town, and all Eureka Springs business and civic leaders, are challenged to do the same! :)
