Katie-Grace Helen Austin Liberty, peacefully passed into eternity on October 21, 2017. She and husband, Curtis G. Liberty (preceded in death), were proud residents of Eureka Springs, Arkansas for over 75 years combined.

Katie is remembered as the fiercely loving, jovial and supportive mother/mother-in-law/grandmother to: Brian, Michelle, Abegaile and Rachael Lietz, Jeff and Eric Sexton of Springfield, MO.; Karrie Lietz of Spring Hill, Flor.; Amanda Mae Bennett-Yang, Cong (Andy) Yang, Pascal Bennett of Eureka Springs and Farmington, Ark., Eponine Bennett of Pittsburgh, PA and Gwendolyn and Chloe Yang of Minneapolis, MN.

She was a renaissance woman who had a variety of interests/skills that afforded her opportunities as a painter, florist, truck driver and local chef (Victorian Sampler, Pancakes and ES&NA Railway.) Many knew Katie as a loyal friend, traveller with “sand in her shoes,” a serious “wheeler-dealer” at her many yard sales, volunteer for cooking/serving comforting foods for “an Army of people” at many churches/soup kitchens, a dear confidant with lots of stories and a bold gal “who never met a stranger.” Katie-Grace was a bold force of nature and had a heart of gold. Most importantly--She was real and will be loved, always.
