Heart of Many Ways to host Earth Celebration

The Heart of Many Ways will host an Earth Celebration from Friday, April 19, through Sunday, April 28, at 68 Mountain St. The celebration will feature examinations of nature in art, spiritual connections with animals and interfaith worship services. John Two-Hawks will open the celebration at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, in the Upstairs Sanctuary.

A Nature in Art discussion will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.

Rev. Melissa Clare will lead a Universal Service from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Sunday, April 21, in the Upstairs Sanctuary, and Rebecca Babbs will lead Dances for Universal Peace from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

QiGong with Aspen Vaught will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, April 22. Dr. Robert Beauford will lead a Geological Walk at Basin Spring Park from 3 p.m. to 4 :30 p.m., and the Metaphysical Society will present a Rupert Sheldrake video from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Clare will lead a Sufi Healing Circle from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 23.

The Buddhist Study Group will host the “live release” of earthworms onto the Heart of Many Ways property from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 25. The Sufi Winged Heart Group will lead a session on Oceanic Awareness from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Hu Dost Concert and Album Release: Of Water and Mercy will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, April 26.

Speakers Lilia Beatte, Lisa Whipplinger, Joyce Hicks and more special guests will participate in the Science of Spirit and Nature session from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 27. There will be animal theater, a water blessing, refreshments and a lunch break. V.E. Kimberlin’s signature play “Going to Grandma’s” will be performed from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

A Universal Service led by Rabbi Lennick and Clare will conclude the Earth Celebration from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28.
