Officers with the Tri-City Response Team surrounded a residence on the Eureka Springs Historic Loop for several hours Wednesday morning, and sources said three individuals were arrested.

Sheriff Jim Ross said the incident was related to a stabbing earlier Wednesday, but the sheriff’s office did not release any other details pending first judicial appearances.

Records indicate that Sebastian Octavia Valentino, 49, was booked into the Carroll County Detention Center at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Marilyn Sloas was booked into the jail at 10:22 a.m. Wednesday. No further information was available regarding their arrests.

Court records in previous cases connect both Valentino and Sloas to the address on Kingshighway where officers were present Wednesday.

Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Maj. Jerry Williams said Thursday that the sheriff’s office would issue a press release after the individuals involved had their first judicial appearances.
