Trick-or-Treat Street scheduled for Oct. 25

Take your little ghouls out for a free and family-friendly night of traditional trick-or-treating with participating downtown merchants on Friday, Oct. 25, as part of the Trick-or-Treat Street event.

Trick-or-treating takes place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Center, Spring and Main streets, with fun Halloween games and prizes offered at Basin Spring Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be classic Halloween cartoons for kids in the Auditorium from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., as well as a pumpkin carving contest in Basin Park. Drop off your pumpkin by 6 p.m. for judging.

At 6:30 p.m., there will be a kids and pets costume contest at Basin Park. That will be followed by the lighting of the pumpkins and the Halloween tree at 7 p.m., with the pumpkin carving contest winners announced by 7:30 p.m.
