Newspapers offering Matching Ad Program

Thursday, April 30, 2020

Effective May 1, Carroll County Newspapers will begin offering a “Matching Ad Program” for our local businesses. They can be current or new advertisers.

We are committed to the communities we serve and are here to help local business get back to full strength.

To be a partner in the recovery efforts we have instituted a Matching Advertising Grant program open to locally owned and operated businesses impacted by the coronavirus.

The matching grant is open to all locally owned businesses whether they have been an advertiser in the past or not. The matching grant money will apply to local print advertising in our newspapers, online, and specialty publications published between May 1 and July 31, 2020.

Grants are available for a minimum of $200 and a maximum of $2,000 each month. This a dollar-for-dollar matching grant for advertising in Carroll County Newspapers publications, including the Carroll County News, Lovely County Citizen, Eureka Springs Visitor (June issue), Currents magazine (July issue) and HIlights (June issue).

A community newspaper is only as strong as the community it serves. We know businesses and workers are hurting — we are hurting, too.

But we can pull together as a community. We can weather this.

For more information, call the Carroll County News at 870-423-6636 or the Lovely County Citizen at 479-253-0070.
