The Eureka Springs School District has announced that it will be offering both on-site and online classes for the 2020-2021 school year for K-12 students.
“For the 2020-2021 school year, Eureka Springs Schools will offer a K-12 onsite and online option to fit your family's circumstances,” the school district said in a Facebook post Tuesday afternoon. “We will continue to provide your children with the best education possible. We are working with the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Arkansas Department of Health to finalize planning. Stay tuned throughout the summer for more information.”
“We just wanted to let people know,” superintendent Bryan Pruitt said. “Just in case some of them think they would rather try homeschooling.”
He said the online program the district will use is Lincoln Learning through the Arkansas Public School Resource Center. He said the state of Arkansas will be paying for the program for any students who want to use it for the 2020-21 school year.
