Wednesday, October 14, 2020

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office has released a new mobile app that is available for free on iPhone and Android phones.

The new CCSO app provides access to jail intake and releases, emergency alerts with push notifications, missing children and missing persons, warrants, shelters and hotlines, active shooter protocols and training, county directory and sex offenders.

Missing children and missing persons data is provided in partnership with the Arkansas Attorney General and the Morgan Nick Foundation. The Carroll County Sheriff’s App provides users with a statewide database and allows users access to contact information of the jurisdictional agency on a per case basis if they have any information that can help law enforcement locate the individual.

Registered sex offenders statewide data is provided in partnership with ACIC. The app will default to Carroll County and allows users to view data in a list view, 2D map and an augmented reality view. Users can switch between all state counties from within the app.
