Answering the Call offers Christmas Meal Boxes for delivery
The First United Methodist Churchís Answering the Call program will be delivering Christmas Meal Boxes on Wednesday, Dec. 23, to the first 100 households affected by COVID-19 that respond to the special delivery.
The meal boxes will serve four people, with the ingredients to make several complete meals. The boxes include a whole turkey or ham, makings for stuffing, black-eyed peas, makings for green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, cranberries, dinner rolls and various desserts.
If you are sick with COVID-19, quarantined, struggling to pay the bills because of the virus or stuck at home away from family, call Martie at 479-253-8987 to sign up for the meal box delivery. The deadline to get on the special delivery list is Sunday, Dec. 20.
As is the case with Answering the Callís Monday meals, the meal boxes are available to anyone in the Eureka Springs area affected by COVID-19. You do not have to be a member of the First United Methodist Church of Eureka Springs to qualify. The only restriction is that you have to be affected by COVID-19 in some way.
